Electrically powered rolling grilles resemble external window blinds - the panels break and roll onto a gigantic roll, but remain hidden in an aesthetic casing. The same is the case with bars. The sash is also rolled up on a roll and hidden in the cassette. The advantage of this solution is the fact that the folded grille does not occupy the ceiling surface and does not collide with the installed lighting. This type of grilles, in contrast to the traditional solutions with swinging sashes, known from small shops and service points, are fully automated. Of course, there is an emergency option to open the barrier manually, but on a daily basis, with large dimensions, it would be an inconvenient system. The drive is equipped with a safety brake, anti-crush protection, electronic overload sensor, as well as a safety sensor or a photocell system - for even greater reliability during operation. It can be said that rolling grilles in shopping malls ensure complete safety for both property and users.
Aesthetics is also important
Although in the case of grilles, functionality is the most important thing, appearance is also important, and not only in the case of an exclusive boutique or store with expensive electronics. Rolling grilles are made of extruded aluminium, covered with a powder varnish. This technology guarantees durability and good appearance, without fear of unsightly corrosion centres. Choosing the colour of the grille according to the RAL palette allows you to match the sash to the colour of the object, a given surface or other criteria. Of course, the grille is not a decorative element, but properly selected "will not spoil" the finish of the whole.
