The white appearance of uPVC doesn’t always suit investors, making wood-imitating veneer an increasingly popular choice. Windows using woodlike foils retain all features of uPVC but look strikingly similar to wood. Some are still sceptical of this solution, though.

People are worried that such windows require more maintenance and that the veneer colour will change in time. Therefore it is worth noting that the veneer does not stick to the profile but melds with its structure, making it difficult to damage. While some abrasions caused by improper use or carelessness during window installation may sporadically occur, veneered windows require no special care and should last 30–40 years.
